SCHOOL BUS FIGURE 8
One of the most exciting events held at Evergreen Speedway. It features full size School Buses racing around the Figure 8 Track, with lots of hits and near-hits at the worlds busiest intersection. These are the same buses that you will see on the street, with the exception of a few safety modifications.

THREE CAR TRAIN RACES
Another high-energy race that features 3 cars chained together and let loose on the Figure 8 track. The first car of the train is the driver or engine, the middle car is chained to the back of the first car and does not have a driver or engine and is usually an import car, the third car or the caboose has a driver but no engine, so he is there for the ride. Combine all this on the Figure 8 track with eight to ten other trains and it is a show you will not want to miss. The action is incredible as the drivers try to keep their trains together, and intersection hits are quite common.

BOAT RACES
Boat races are another exciting form of racing at Evergreen Speedway. Boats are changed or tied to the back of a racecar and let loose on the figure 8 track. The object is to try and smash the other drivers boat until there is only one boat left on the track. It’s a no holds bared as these crazy drivers will do just about anything to destroy their competitors, cars and boats.

GAUNTLET RACE
A team race with good guys and bad guys. The Gauntlet Bus (a small school bus) contains the driver and a crew of at least two. The bad guys are driving mid size cars maximum 5 that try to keep the Gauntlet Bus from competing 8 - 10 laps around the Figure 8 track. The Gauntlet crew is equipped with water extinguishers filled with flour and water, water balloons, rotten fruit, watermelons, tomatoes to throw at the attackers, the attackers try to pin the Gauntlet Bus by whatever means they can. A truly enjoyable event that takes a very skilled Gauntlet driver to win this event.

ROLLOVER CONTEST
The Rollover Contest is just what it says: the cars are 4 cylinder small cars. They travel down the front stretch and drive up a ramp and try to see how many times that they can roll the car. Usually there are two rounds to the competition and the winner is the driver who has the most total combined rollovers.
